Here comes Santa rocketing out of the Christmas tree with a reindeer on top. His going at rocket speed with knives everywhere. Santa waslooking from his window getting some fresh air. Santas neice is evil and then she shoved a grenade down his mouth so he died. When Santa died the evil one helped him up because the evil one started to chase him.He had his Tomy gun loaded with pineapples covered with melted chocolate.He blasted the pineapples covered in melted chocolate and all of the chocolate went all over him.'Arr, chocolate.I hate chocolate!'santa started melting from the chocolate.he got born from solor chocolate. ha ha ha merry chrismas. he enjoyed every christmas except one. this one was horrible just horrible. Santa was so grumpy that he shot a R.P.G at ahouseand shabam it blew up. then santa said "merry christmas children. did you like your present couse I did" and then he started to sing"jingle bells batman smell robin layed an egg. the batmoble lost a wheel and Joker got away hay." then santa saw a car that he then relised that it was Jokers car. Then Joker killed every one and that was the sad ending but happy for Joker because villans ruled the world.

Hm i wonder what i'll get for christmas. last year I saw santa swonder if Ill see rodolph said Ella the girl when she was setting up the christmas tree. When Ella was putting up the decorations on the tree Ella saw santa and the presents again up in the sky. It sounded like gingles and he was sing im droping of presnts.As i heard a crash down the chimney I quickly hid behind the couch.ho ho what do we have here its not that decorated that means that well because last christmas it was all decorated that means that shes in here right now i must leave now.santa went on hoing,then ella jumped up,"Ho ho ho huh" said santa astonished. He was really surprised to see the little girl. Santa said "Hi ella it is a pleasure to see you again. This time i will let you see my reindeer." So he led her to his sleigh. Ella thought they were cute. They looked light brown with dark brown antlers and only one reindeer had a red nose and his name was Rudolph. The red nose was evil. The reindeer wanted to kill everyone in the universe. His red nose was a lazer that destroyed everything. Rudolph pooed out acid and burnt santas hair and beard. Santa was real angry and chopped his nose off. And put on a non killing red nose. It was as bright as ever before but Rudolph was very angry about santa chopping off his evil nose. He hit santa back in the face. Then santa had a big black eye. He gave Rudolph a big kick in the bum. And threw him off the roof and he died. Then Blitzen puts on the red nose that santa had chopped off Rudolph and now he wants kill santa. So Blitzen stole some acid and he hid up on a cliff and santa was looking for him, so Blitzen poured the acid on the ice around santa and he fell down into the ice and froze. Now he is dead. The reindeers were very sad that thier owner died. But Blitzen wasn't. THE END.

"Ho ho ho its time to die"said evil Santa. He started to walk to his trick sleigh with all his pranks. He started to fly through the air dropping bombs and hes best trick of all the farting machine invented by Maddie. He jumped on to his sleigh and then yelled again so scarily he nearly scared himself,"Ho ho ho its time to die' and then yelled his most scary laugh"ha ha ha."blah blah blah I love Christmas. Santa wants to kiss you. I hate Santa ha ha. Then all the little kids screamed, Santa then started to laugh. Suddenly he heard a foot step he did a evil laughed suddenly the foot steps stopped. When the foot steps stopped he laughed evilly. He then opened the door and started to through evil teddy bears that had knife claws. There was rows of endless teddy's bears coming from every direction. They jumped quickly on me and knocked me on the floor and i whacked them with a baseball bat i turned back this giant ball came flying at my face i ducked just in time. I quickly grabbed a laundry ball shooter i hit Santa straight in the stomach and his stomach blew up. When he landed in pieces everything went back to normal and the real Santa appeared out of knowhere and the presents were raining from the sky. Then one persons opens the gift and out comes a flying pancakes the i sucks peoples brain out. The people turn into zombies and ran around eating peoples brains out. Then one person ate the pancake and the pancake said no!!!! and died and then all the pancakes all died and then there was no pancakes left in the world. Then suddenly a pour innocent little young girl opened up a giant present and a black hole came out. Then the girl realised it was a painted black pancake so everyone ate it and that was the end of the pancakes. That night every body went to bed for Christmas eve. it was one of the best Christmas eve ever. in the morning all the children wok up to find there presents they were relived.

on the melboune cup weekend I sat down and watched the melboune cup.

On Tuesday Graceyn came over with her family and we did the Melbourne cup and we voted , my horse came first but everybody thought that Graceyns mum won but she didn't and I got 5 dollars and Graceyns mum came 2 and 3 so she got 1 dollars and 2 dollars.

on the weekend i saw a nitro funny car it was fast i didnt like the chianeise
nitro it makes peoples eyes sore.

Melbourne cup and cariculum day

On the melbourne cup day I dressed up in a green dress with a green shall and a nice hat. Miss.Scot did my hair and it looked really cool because it was a very fluffy kind of style and it had a yellow flower. I had a great time especially when I got a most fashionable award. On the race my best dressed satificate kept on blowing onto the race track and nearly got stampeeded. On cariculum day I went to the park and i had a big swing on the swing and i played with the boys (Benny and Rusty) and they went completely insane it was so funny wen Benny had his spaz attak.

On Friday the 31st of October I went to my friend's birthday party.It was a Helloween party & I dresses up as a witch.My friend's Diana,Tanisha,Mel & Hollie cam to the party too.We also went treck-or-treating.I was my first time!I had the best time at her party!!

On my long week I weekend I invited one of my friends to come to play.
the first thing I did would be when we cut ad pasted some things out of paper.
the next hing I did go outside to play some games.

The next day invited Friend over I didn't get very much time the only
thing I remember was playing tag. After lunch I went to his house played

On sunday i went horse riding and went on the cross country track at sharon's and i went over the really high jumps i had to do it in reverse and i had to go around the tree to get some speed up then he started cantering but i missed the jump. Then when we went over the other jumps and he started rearing so i had to go back into the arena and he had to do about 20 laps for being naughty. Then on Monday i went in the truck with my dad and i slepted a tiny bit and i drew heaps of pictures and i got lollies and we went to Ballarat and 2 more place we didn't get home to 6 or 7 a clock at night. i had the best long weekend ever.

On Friday the 31st of October we had the Pearcedale cup.
It was a bit wet so we had fashion on the field in the hall.
Then it cleared and we had the races. Our grade did not go
good.After the kids raced the teachers and parents raced.
The women had a big head start against the men and Miss Scott
against Jarrord Scully by a metre.

On my weekend i went to my nanna's house to celebrate Melbourne cup. My pa put money on three horsesfor me. I chose for number 2, 8 and 23. but i didn't win. But my cousin won $30, and he is only five years old. We had lots of food there and we made some truffles to bring. i had four because they were delicious!!!!! Half of the time my cousins, me and my brother were playing the d.s. Me and my brother kept winning the races on the game because my cousins SUCK. Term 3- The best thing about this term has been the excursion. we went to the chinese restaurant and the vic market and I got lollies and Miss shaw got one kite and one for free.

The best thing i liked about term three was sports day. people from grade four, five and six went to Ballam Park to compete againts other schools for sports day. There was one hundred people from pearcedale there. We lost by three point,
Woodlands won. I came second in every event i did. I did 80 metre hurdles. 100 metre sprints and 100 metre relay. My team was Me, Alla, Mel and Lauren.

The best thing about term 3 is all the fun things I did
one of the fun things I did was playing in the ICT room but it was annoying when

this term i have really liked the excursion to the city. it was fun and we got to meet the man from vietnam.

Then i was bored at every thing else we looked at. Then we left. the train was already a little bit full. I brought 3 crystals and they were all horse's. We went to a lolly shop called Suga. Me Ebony, Danielle brought some lollies from the lolly shop. Ebony brought heeps of lollies and didn't give any away. I ate the lollies and shared them with my family. My my spoiled us because she brought us toffee apples. i gave a toffee apple to every one in my group and i gave one to my dad and my big sister Tia.

On the 2nd of September all the grade fours went to the Victoria market. Since we bare laernig about multiculturalism the teachers thought it was a great way to see diferent food, toys, people and alot of other things.When we got out at Flagstaff station we went to a Chinese restaurant, Kitoh.For lunch I had lemon Chicken with noodles.It was really nice and I ate it all with chopsticks! Then we went to the market. i bought 3 big clips and heaps of lolies!! Ater the market we went to a park for about 5 seconds and ate some of the Hot Jam Donuts that the people made them selves. Then we went to home to tell our parents what I just said
The next day at shool we had a cooking day. our grade did American food. We cooked mini hot dogs, Hamburgers and apple crumble.It took the whole day but it was worth it because the food we cooked ,was the BEST EVER!

Our whole class got into pairs and then we picked a verse in We Are Australian song.Me and Jess who was my partner,did the forth verse.
Now we are grouping them together. It will play to the song 'We are Australian'.

At school we had our own opening ceremony for the olympic games. We pretended to be Madagascan Athletes. We used the webcams to interview each other. (you can see them on our blog)

The whole group had lots of fun in all of these events. I hope we can do them again.

At school about 2 weeks ago we went on an excursion ,when we were there we had to grab some

stuff for cooking the next day.when we were cooking we cooked mini hot dogs,mini hambugers

and apple crumble,after we finished cooking all the grade 4s put all there food together and

Exposition- Should Poaching Stay Illegal?

Poaching is a big problem in Africa. Someone needs to stop them. If you can, that great but if you're the one poaching please stop, its ghastly.

Poaching causes animals numbers to go down drasticlly and eventuly be extinct. Horrible to think that you might be one of the stupid people poaching or buying it.

The punishment for poaching is not big enough.if you can get $20,000 for just two tusks. $100 fine doesn't really matter to them.Stop ,its sad.

Poaching dont care about animals only the money. lts not fair. Why should they suffer.

Poaching is a horrible and gastley sport and should be stopped. By now I hope you feel the same way. Stop please or join the fight.

Igor

We had a special guest this week. His name was Igor, he is from Bosia and he is a refugee.
We learnt that Igor become a refugee because there was too much war in his country and it wasn't safe.
So he escaped with some friends but he got caught by the enemies and he fought against his own side.
He had to escape from there too and went to London.
He had a lot of trouble getting a job and learning English but he did it.
Now he lives in Australia and he loves it, he still has a funny accent when he talks even though he has been here a while now.

Our interesting thing for the week is newcome. One point away from victory for the team closest to the door. The team on the other side cheated because they counted the point that went outside the boundry so the team closest to the door should of got that point. Wich would have to mean that the team closest to the door should of won. Here are the point of the game 13-14 the first team was the one further away from the door and the second was the one closest to the door.

J-Rock

On Thursday August 14th the JRock went to Hisense Arena. We went by bus and to the Hisense Arena we got the biggest room. We arrived at ten oclock on the dot, spot on. We went and watched the other schools reherse.Then we had our lunch. After that we had our turn. We rehersed first. But we had to reherse twice.The other schools were being very mean to us. Then we had a snack break. At night we had to get our face paint done and we had to get our costumes on. Then we went backstage and we had to wait a couple of minutes before we performed. Then it was our turn. We went on stage and the curtains opened. The music started and everyone farted.What colour was our gas. Just kidding. Everyone started to dance. I think everyone was great. But the 7 students in our grade we were the best. Then we ran off and the super stars came on, they were good too. But at the end they had a hard part because it looked like Kaitlyn was going to fall. Then the ran off and the princesses and princes came on. They were beautiful. The funniest bit about it was when they were angry at her someone hit her. Then the finale came at the end I almost burst into tears. The crowd went wild at the end of our performance. Then we went off stage. Then we went and went into the audience. We watched the rest of the schools perform then we went home. It was one of my best experiences ever. I hope I get in next year then the year after that. THE END.

How did they come up with the Australian Anthem?

The official anthem was 'god save the Queen' from 1788 to 1974, although numerous commercial and official competitions were held over the years to find a substitute. The first was held in 1840.

The issue of a truly national anthem was raised persistently before the 1956 Olympics,which were held in Melbourne. 'Advance Australian Fair' and Waltzing Matilda were the two most songs strongly favoured then as the new anthem.

The quest for an Australian national anthem continued. In 1974 a public opinion poll sampled an estimated 60,000 people to select from three possible anthems: 'Advance Australia fair; Waltzing Matilda' and a 'song of Australia'.

'Advance Australia Fair' was polled 51.4 %. Following the results the then Prime Minister, Gough Whitlam, announced that 'Advance Australia Fair' would be the national anthem, except on a specific royal occasions, when both it and 'God Save the Queen' would be played.

In 1976, after a change in government, 'God Save the Queen' was reinstated for royal, vice-regal, defence and loyal toast occasions, with 'Advance Australia Fair' to be played on all other official occasions. It was not until April 1984 that the Governor-general issued a proclamation that 'God Save the Queen' was designated as the royal anthem, to be played at public engagements in Australia attended by members of the royal family. 'Advance Australia Fair' was finally announced to be the Australian national anthem.

How did they come up with the Australia flag?

The flag of Australia was chosen in 1901 from entries in

a worldwide design competition held following federation.

It was approved by Australia and the British authorities

over the next couple yeas,the exact specifications of the

flag were changed several times both intentionally and

was a result of confusion.The current specifications were

published in 1934 and 1954 the flag because legally recognised

as the Australian National flag.

There was a lot of cultural impacts,when the British immigrants came to Australia. The British shared a common language with Australians making it easy for them to fit in.

The cultural impact England had on Australia included religious beliefs, the way the government was run , food influences and many British sport such as soccer, rugby and cricket.

They invented a game called Australian rules football which was a cross between on field ball games and was designed to keep the cricket players fit in the winter time.

Trivia night

The school had their trivia night and the teachers table rules!

J-Rock

On Thursday night we did the J Rock Dance.

It was very fun but we also had the biggest room.The best thing was watching the other kids and doing our dance. By Ebony

On Thursday night the J-Rock did there perfomance at Hisense Arena. We had to get to school at about 8.00am and 8.15am with our School uniform, our green top on as well as our school unifom pants,skirt and anything else that you were for school. We finally got to the city and watched the other schools reherse and then they watched us. The teacher's from other schools got to play a game called jump on the fabric. Miss Davies was playing the game and she jumped on the fabric and we were on 7th. We were running out of time for face paint we finally finished the face paint and then went to do our dance. I was very nervous about making a mistake but I took all the pressure off me and i didn't make one mistake for the whole night. I was so happy that mum watched me on T.V. That night we got a trophy. J-rock is the best. And that was a great night. THE END TANISHA

our olympic parade was great our whole school got to dressed up to represent a country that we were learning about for two to three weeks. It was the best. We were Madagascar.

In 1952 we came to Auatralia by ship from Italy. it was a long trip that took about 3 mouth to get to melbourne.the ship was very big wiht many decks to walk around to pass the time away.It was a journey with both good and bad weather,and sometimesthe sea was relly rough.the ship left the northen italian par of trieste and went south down the adriatic sea into the medirernian sea,then we passed though the suez canel into the red and then into the indian euan. We stopped at many porrs along the way. We landed in Australia,Perth then Adelaide and finally Melbourne wher we stayed. It was hard at first because we could not speak the language and Australian way of life was very different then Italy

'Home' for the last forty - two days has been a tiny room
shared with many other families in the lower decks of the ship (Citta di Genova). During the daytime we battled seaickness and during the night we fought sleeplessness.The ships were old and run down . It was the women's job to clean the rooms , toilets and corridors.It was poorly ventilated . It was a long journey and our emotoins ranged from excitement at the adventure , to being scared about the future. The journey on the ship was very rough and wild with huge seas and storms . The food was really bad and there was not enough fresh water to cure everyone. There were squeaking rats in the kitchen and spiders in the rooms.The sheets on the beds had holes in them and they were moldy a little too. Mothers had to fan their babies cool because of the extreme heat. The poor babies were almost lifeless and gasping for breath.We got served cold food that was inedible but what choice did we have but to eat it.
